Founded in 1818, The Clifton Club continues to host a vibrant and collective community of likeminded individuals as part of Bristol’s most exclusive private members club. The Clifton Club is situated in the heart of the historic Clifton Village, a Private Members Club housed in a Georgian Mansion building which is located some two miles from the centre of Bristol. We are within a short walk of Brunel’s famous Clifton Suspension Bridge and the beautiful Avon Gorge. There is a railway link to Clifton from the main train station, Bristol Temple Meads (direct link to London, Paddington). Clifton Down station is 1.9km from the Club building.

The Club has 7 beautifully decorated rooms which can accommodate your every need. The Drawing Room is the heart of The Club offering a luxurious setting with a bar and comfortable seating areas. The Dining Room hosts Luncheon served Monday to Friday from 12:45 to 13:45 with a daily changing a la carte menu, incorporating the freshest seasonal ingredients and the finest culinary skills of Head Chef, Christian Wragg. Supper is served in The Dining Room on Thursday evenings from 18:00. The Centenary Room is traditionally decorated and perfect for Board Meetings or Private Functions. Our Business Suite, located on the 2nd floor is elegantly decorated and provides dedicated super-fast WIFI, multiple personal electrical sockets, a complimentary coffee machine and complimentary printing services to provide the perfect environment to work from or to host small meetings. The Greenway Room hosts most Club activities such as card games and societies. Our Snooker Room provides two full sized snooker tables, maintained to the highest standards, booking is essential. Finally, the beautifully decorated Club Room hosts an informal bar, an additional meeting space and lounge whereby news and sports are shown.

Dress Code Jacket and Tie are required between 12:00 and 15:00 and on Thursday evenings. The Club’s full Dress Code Policy can be found on their website.
