The Circulo del Liceo (The Opera House Club) is a private club in the English style, with a unique artistic heritage and around one thousand members. Located at the heart of the city, close to Plaza Cataluña, the famous Gothic Quarter and the Port of Barcelona, it offers a series of elegant salons, a conference room, library, restaurant and many other services in an iconic building of the city of Barcelona, which the Circulo shares with the Gran Teatro del Liceo, the Opera House.
Inaugurated in 1847, the Circulo remains to this day a point of reference for the social and cultural life of Barcelona and Catalonia. Every year it is the site of numerous events, recitals, concerts, conferences, presentations, awards of prizes, celebrations and tributes, participated in both by members of the Circulo and by leading personalities in the cultural life of this city and other Spanish regions.

The Circulo del Liceo combines elegance and excellent quality to offer to its members the following facilities: Restaurant, TV lounge and living room, numerous lounges for events, Library, Billiards Room and Conference Room Montserrat Caballé (capacity of 68 people). There is a top roof terrace overlooking the famous Ramblas street, which opens from mid May to end of September for drinks and cocktails.
The restaurant is open Monday to Friday, from 1:30pm to 3:30pm, and from 8:30pm to 10:30pm.
The Club does not open on official Spanish national or local festivities.
The Club is closed during the month of August.

Dress Code Gentleman: Jacket and tie required for access to the Club and the restaurant. Tie is not required from 23rd June until 29th September.
Ladies: Formal, elegant dressing. -
Age Restriction Children are welcome accompanied by their parents.

Dogs No pets are allowed on the club premises. Only guide dogs allowed.
