Throughout the centuries, Antognolla has served as the backdrop of countless historical feats. It is believed that a Benedictine monastery existed on the land as far back as 1174 AD. Since then, the estate has been transformed from monastery to military castle to noble seat.
One of the most spectacular and challenging golf courses in Italy, the eighteen-holes at Antognolla feature long, cliff-lined fairways, beautiful water hazards and large, undulating greens. Conceived by renowned designer Robert Trent Jones Junior, the clever layout makes Antognolla an exciting and satisfying course for golfers of all abilities.
In 2020, Antognolla Golf won the prestigious title of ‘Italy’s Best Golf Course’ at the World Golf Awards and received the same nomination also in 2021 and 2022. In April 2021, it hosted the international Alps Tour 2021 tournament.
